BB Store Management
Real-time inventory analytics and sales reporting for our own multi-tenant e-commerce platform. Warehouse-backed dashboards, defined metrics, no vanity numbers.

Dashboards that change decisions. Real analytics stacks — warehouse, transformations, dashboards, and a defined metric layer. Not just pageview widgets glued onto a marketing site.
Engagement
What you get
Four deliverables we hand over on every analytics engagement.
A proper analytical store — separate from your production database — so reports never slow down the app.
Clean pipelines from every source, modelled into trustworthy tables. Version-controlled, tested, documented.
Dashboards aimed at actual decisions — not vanity metrics. Filterable, shareable, and fast to load.
One source of truth for how every KPI is calculated. End arguments about whose number is right.
Use cases
How we work
Four phases. Questions first, tables second. Weekly demos so you see real numbers early.
What decisions need better data? We map the questions before touching a single table.
Warehouse schema, metric layer definitions, and dashboard wireframes reviewed before build starts.
Pipelines and dashboards built iteratively. Weekly demos so you see real numbers early.
Team training, documentation, and the metric doc. You leave knowing how to run it yourselves.
Proof of work
We're building our own product in the open. Here's what that looks like.

Before you ask
Your production database is tuned for transactions — writing orders, updating inventory, serving the app. Running analytical queries against it slows everything down and still gives you slow reports. A warehouse is a separate analytical store optimised for aggregations and history. You keep the app fast and the numbers trustworthy.
Usually 3–4 weeks for a first useful dashboard on one or two key sources. Full metric coverage across multiple systems takes 6–10 weeks. We prioritise the decisions you make most often, so early dashboards earn their keep before the whole stack is finished.
You do. Warehouse account, dbt project, dashboard tool — all on your cloud, under your credentials, no vendor lock-in. We hand over the git repo, the metric definitions, and the docs. If you want to bring it in-house or switch agencies, nothing is gated behind us.
It almost always is. Part of the build is cleansing and reconciling sources — de-duping records, resolving different naming conventions, filling gaps. We also set up automated data quality tests so you find problems before your CFO does. We will tell you honestly when a source is too broken to rely on.
Three options. Your team takes it on with the training and docs we leave behind — the stack is designed to be run in-house. Or we stay on a light retainer for fixes and new metrics. Or a mix: your team owns day-to-day, we handle quarterly reviews and bigger changes. No lock-in either way.
Tell us what decisions need better data — we'll reply within 24 hours on working days with a scoping proposal and a realistic timeline.
